Life is all about making decisions. Some are very easy like; what you will wear today, what you will have for lunch, or where you will go out. But some decisions are life-changing, and you are not sure whether you are making the right one or wrong one. One such decision I made was that after graduation, I applied for MSc pharmacology in GCU and got the admission.
Coming to Glasgow for the study was the toughest decision for me. I have always lived with my family, and I have always traveled with them, so to leave them was not an easy choice for me. But my family supported me throughout the process, and in September, I was in Glasgow.
I clearly remembered my first day at University. There were so many questions on my mind, that whether I made the right decision or not, or should I had looked for other universities before applying. Another question that got my attention was how my life would be without my family for this whole year. I was nervous because it was a big opportunity for me. It was also a big risk for me, but I was willing to take it. This is also a part of Entrepreneurial Mind-set which is a Common Good attribute which mean to grab opportunities and to take risks in life for better outcome.
After six months, when I looked back on my first day, I see myself as a confused and unconfident individual, but now everything is different. Today, I am more confident, joyous, and working hard to achieve my desire outcome. It was only possible because of academic staff and my friends who constantly supported and helped me throughout my journey and made it easy for me.
Lastly, I realized that I made the right decision coming to GLASGOW CALEDONIAN UNIVERSITY.
