In my previous blog, I talked about PDP session 1 in week 6 and how I was eagerly waiting for PDP session 2 in week 10. Honestly, due to you know what, again one who cannot be named, I have lost all my interest in doing anything right now and just wanted to live my life peacefully. Regardless, we had a session as it was planned but with different circumstances. In term of crises, the one thing that has been with us throughout is technology and we should all be thankful to it.
We had an online class organised by our module leader, Frances. I never had an online class before so this was something new that I experienced and frankly speaking it was not that bad. I have no idea what other perspectives but for me it was a chance to see my friends after a long time . I miss them more than anything right now and i have realized now that they are my family and I really hope to meet soon. I wanted to give them a hug but I was reminded it was a video calling so I just gave them a flying kiss. We started with welcoming everyone and then Frances spoke about how we all coping and making an effort in these difficult times. Without any further delay, we were organised in to six groups with four students in one group. I do not know why I am always part of a group where there are only girls. Honestly I loved that😂. This time I was more confident than the previous session because I had started interacting with everyone so I was more relaxed. But again, it was awkward at start because firstly, we were having some technical issues such as audio problems or someone has connectivity issues. Secondly, it was difficult to started a conversation as it was a first time for everyone having online class. After greetings, and talking about current situation, we started our session. We discussed about out first PDP experienced. For me it was engaging, I came to know more about my group members and learned something from them especially from Bhagayshre that how she managed her time as she has to study and work at same time. My communication skills has become better as I started interacting more with my friends and this automatically boost my confidence level. Everyone in group has a similar answer. Next question was really interesting and it asked what you are aiming to achieve in the next 2-5 years? Someone answered to go back to their country and find a job. My answer was obviously first to get married and have 2 children( one boy and one girl) and i have even thought about their names😂. Other aim was to do PhD in pharmacology. After then, Frances not only discussed our problems that we were having but she also assured us to help and guide us. Hats of to her, the way she managed the whole session and somehow brought us closer so we can meet each other and share our feelings that we are going through. So, in the end it turned out to be a great session regardless the technical problem that we faced.
Again , Stay home and Stay safe!!!.
